Today, our team at VMworld received the finalist award in the Public/Hybrid Cloud Computing Technologies category. The “Best of VMworld 2012” Awards are sponsored by TechTarget SearchServer Vitualization. SearchServerVirtualization.com™ is an enterprise virtualization-focused website providing IT professionals and the community with the latest server virtualization news, articles, tips, and expert advice.
There were over 200 award submissions and the finalists were determined by a team of ten expert judges consisting of editors, independent analysts, users, and consultants.
I spoke by phone with our VP of Marketing and Business Development, Brett Goodwin, from the crowded floor at the Moscone Center in San Francisco:

So many great companies are starting to emerge with great products, and you can just feel it–there’s so much enthusiasm here.
