We just returned from EclipseCon 2012 – the annual meeting of the EclipseCon open source community.
VP of Products, Brian White, spoke about cloud-enabled development and provided specifics on which application workloads are ideal for the cloud model. He also talked about how the use of cloud computing supports Agile development practices.
In our own discussions, we were struck by how many development teams were using Agile development practices, but were still limited to IT resource constraints. Most developers we spoke with shared their frustrations about not having Agile infrastructure in place, and having a fundamental need to share and collaborate within development and test environments. We look forward to keeping the conversation going.
