Seattle, WA – May 13, 2014 – Skytap, the leading provider of self-service application development environments in the cloud, today announced Parasoft, the leading provider of Service Virtualization, API Testing, and Development Testing technologies, joined the Skytap TapIn Partner Program. Under the terms of the partnership, Parasoft customers will gain instant access to Skytap’s SaaS solution through two joint product offerings designed to help enterprises build, test, and release better software in less time.

Customers can now leverage two joint offerings from Parasoft and Skytap:
- Parasoft Virtualize plus Skytap Cloud: Enterprises have access to on-demand complete, complex test environments by leveraging their existing virtualized environments as well as simulating non-virtualized infrastructure (including mainframes and external services) to more closely mirror their production environment. Together these technologies provide development and test teams with better test coverage, increased velocity, and greater throughput – resulting in higher quality software.
- Parasoft Unit Test and Static Analysis plus Skytap Cloud: Leverages the Skytap Cloud service to provide on-demand access to multiple, concurrent test environments and continuous integration allowing development and test teams to perform parallel unit testing and static analysis to automate and shorten their testing windows. Together these technologies allow companies to yield greater throughput and increased velocity in order to become more agile and release software quicker.
Additionally, Parasoft Virtualize and the Parasoft Development Testing Platform solutions will be available in the Skytap public template library.
